Ximena Echeverria

Ximena is a Latina wildlife photograpner and visual artist based in Arizona.
 
Born in Ecuador, and deeply inspired by nature since chilhood, Ximena captures the essence of wild horses and the desert landscape through evocative black and white imagery. A self taught artist with a background in education, she uses photography as a form of visual storytelling to explore themes of reedom, connection and reverence for the natural world.
 
Her wor has been recognized by international photography awards and shown in exhibitions acros the southwest, currently she documents wild horse herds in Arizona's Salt River and Heber regions, and Uta's Onaqui Mountains.
 
Ximena's lens honors resilience, sacred bonds in nature and the soulful presence of the wild.
