“I create geometric sculptures that engage with space, light, and perception, objects that shift depending on how they are experienced.”

Pitar is a Mexican sculptor and industrial designer whose work explores structure, and the relationship between geometry, material, and space. Many of his pieces begin with the observation of animals and natural forms, which he reduces into essential volumes that emphasize balance, weight, and spatial tension.

His practice is shaped by working between desert, ocean and mountain landscapes,
where light, scale, and perception become active elements in the experience of each
piece.
